First Recipe ~ Homemade Playdough

This Playdough has a really good smell and does not taste good. XD

3 cups flour
1-1/2 cups salt
2 tsp alum or 6 tsp cream of tartar
3 Tbsp oil
2 packages Kool-Aid, your smell preference, if desired
Food Coloring, your choice color, if desired
2-3 cups water

In a medium or large pot over medium heat, pour water, place food coloring and Kool-Aid is desired, and oil. Stir.
Add flour, salt and alum/cream of tartar and stir.
Keep stirring until the liquid cooks in and the playdough comes together in a lump in the middle of the pot.
Dump out and scrape all the dough onto a oil safe surface, such as a clean cutting board, laminate or sealed wood table, or plastic place mat. Using hands, knead and work, being careful (IT IS HOT!!), until the color is even.
Store in a sealed bag or container. Will keep for up to 3 months. Do not freeze or leave out.
Have fun building many playdough creatures.
Optional: If you want permanent playdough creatures, leave out color and smelly stuff, and bake in a 300° F for 30-40 minutes or until hard and dry.
